The French Civil Aviation Authority (DGAC) is organising competitive exams for European ATCOs.
5 places will be available in the first recruitment session : 2 in Cayenne (French Guinea), 1 in Saint Pierre et Miquelon (near Canada), 1 in Deauville (Normandie), and 1 in Beauvais (80km north of Paris).
The successful candidates will be recruited as Air Traffic Control Engineers and such as Civil Servants.
Admission is subject to application, filed in French.
Evaluation criteria are based on length and complexity of work experience and training procedures.
The remaining applicants will than take the four admission tests : Air Traffic,French and English proficiency tests and final interwiew.
The successful candidates will then be graded and will undergo further training at the Enac in Toulouse.
Exam preparation course
a one week course in Corsica including accomodation (with your family should you wish it).
Course content:
- application file drafting techniques
- study of specifities of French regulations, air traffic and DGAC organisation
- visit of control tower
Candidates will be accompagnied all the way to the exam.
